The ICT Proposers days 2019 took place in Helsinki on 19-20 September 2019. This event will provide an excellent opportunity to present and discuss the main policy drivers of the digital transformation of European industry and society and how the EU research and innovation agenda can best contribute to these objectives. The event will also present the Horizon 2020 Work Programme, and serve as a unique networking platform for ICT enthusiasts and professionals. Towards this, dedicated sessions of the ICT Proposers’ Day 2019 focused on the upcoming calls of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme in the field of Information & Communication Technologies, Future and Emerging Technologies (FET), and Societal Challenges.

In the context of the discussion during the Next Generation Internet of Things session Martel presented the main concepts, tools and outcomes of the NGIoT project, towards the communication of the project’s achievements and planned activities, the growth of the NGIoT community attracting new stakeholders and individuals from various domains and the creation of future connection with the new projects that will be funded under the ICT-56-2020 topic.
